Meet the Team

Staci Benaroya

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, individuals and couples psychotherapist, and emotional wellness coach located in New York City.

I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and completed Post-Graduate training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.

I currently provide individual psychotherapy and couples counseling to young, motivated New Yorkers. Additionally, I provide text-based coaching to hundreds of individuals through my work at wayForward, a digital emotional wellness platform.

Prior to entering the private sector I worked as a social worker at two major NYC hospitals in inpatient medical and outpatient oncology settings, where physical, mental and behavioral health converge. From these experiences I am deeply familiar with supporting individuals through acute and chronic illness, managing high pressure work environments, working through creative blocks and navigating career transitions.

My style is warm, genuine, authentic, fun, and sincerely compassionate in my commitment to help you heal. I value continuing education and, in addition to attending training programs and workshops to further enhance my skills and knowledge of psychodynamic and evidence-based practices, I continue to pursue my own clinical psychoanalytic supervision. My aim is to ensure I am helping you to the best of my abilities and providing you with a significantly valuable therapeutic experience

Jessica Zweig, LCSW

Hi! I’m Jessica- a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and South Florida transplant. I obtained my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and have been a New Yorker ever since! I love New York City and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

Outside of my work in private practice, I am a Social Worker at a City Hospital with experience in the inpatient and outpatient medical and oncology settings. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had to support patients, families, and caregivers through illness, stress and grief, and end-of-life transitions.

I currently provide individual counseling to motivated young adults navigating all of life’s ups and downs: relationships and dating, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, career transitions, loss, and chronic illness.

My style is warm, compassionate, and innately curious and I hope to create a space where your most authentic self is heard and seen. I commonly draw from attachment theory and utilize elements of cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy as well as acceptance and commitment therapy in my work.

I am regularly seeking supervision and training to ensure I can support you to the best of my ability. I’ve been in your shoes and know the courage it takes to make that initial therapy appointment. I am so glad you’re here and I can’t wait to connect with you!

Rebecca Jacobs, LCSW
