Integrative Psychotherapy for Young
Professionals in NYC
Your time is here;
your time is now!
I’m Staci Benaroya, LCSW, and I help you tackle your stress and anxiety head-on in the here-and-now to build your confidence as you move through major life transitions in your 20s and 30s.
What if I told you you could take the next step towards a more confident you before the next season starts?
From the outside looking in, others seem to think you have it all figured out.
But you feel… off. Disconnected from yourself. It’s possible that:
- You just went through a major life transition and you feel extremely uncertain of yourself in your new role.
- You’re experiencing mental and/or physical discomfort; you’re not sure how this came to be or how to effectively manage your distress from day-to-day.
- Aspects of your life have felt particularly challenging or overwhelming for quite some time and it’s all starting to take a significant toll on your wellbeing.
- You’re desperate to feel “normal” again.
I get it. You’re not alone. I’ve been there and I’ve come through it.
I’m glad that you’re here.
Let me help you explore a new approach to creating meaningful and lasting change
I invite you to move at your own pace knowing that we will only process your more difficult emotions and experiences once you’ve built the tools and skills to get you to a place where you feel capable of doing so.
I work closely and compassionately with highly-motivated 20-and-30-something-year-old New Yorkers who are managing major (stressful) life transitions (#adulting), relationship issues, and conditions including anxiety and panic, depression, poor self image, and the desire to meet crazy high standards of perfection.
Online therapy, on your time.
I support you in envisioning and following your path toward a life that feels good on the inside
My goal in our work together is to create a safe, sacred, and nonjudgmental space for you to reflect on your strengths and challenges and gain insight into your emotional world, from past to present day.
EAST COAST GRIND
WEST COAST MIND
Over the better part of the last decade, I’ve identified as a yoga, meditation, and nature enthusiast. All while living in NYC! In the past I struggled significantly with the physical manifestations of stress, anxiety, and trauma in the body. I believe deeply in the mind-body connection and in the power of psychotherapy as a treatment for resolving the underlying psychological causes of your physiological distress.I reassure you that healing and recovery is real and that you are worth it, even if you aren’t completely sure of it just yet. Living life mindfully, compassionately and intentionally is completely possible (and optimal!) amidst the hustle and bustle that is a reality for most New Yorkers.
I am passionate about helping you heal
With time, dedication to the process, a little playful humor, and a whole lot of compassion, you will quickly realize that a life with less stress and more confidence is right on the horizon.
The topics below are the most common issues my clients seek counseling for.
Whether you think so or not, they all relate to each other. Our stress impacts our way of living and being, which relates to our relationships and life transitions as well.
Stress and Anxiety
Excessive stress, nervousness, worry, intense feelings of panic, sleepless nights, and moderate to severe social discomfort – these are distressing experiences that I help you cope with and learn to manage more effectively.
Identifying the underlying root cause(s) of physical manifestations of trauma or severe stress (such as fatigue and IBS) is equally as important as coping with chronic symptoms, in my opinion.
I teach you to set and maintain healthy and loving boundaries for successful interpersonal relationships at a pace that feels right for you. Together we will explore the history of your close relationships and how these impact your attachment style and the way you relate to others in present day.
Joining the workforce, career changes, break ups, and pre-marital concerns – these are just a few of the extremely common experiences millennials face. I am here to support you as you navigate challenging times.
I’m ready to help transform the relationship you have with yourself
Please feel free to reach out via email, phone, or by messaging me below and I will get back to you within one business day.

Which ironically I do when I’m going through a life transition. Okay, maybe not all of my hair. But a nice, big chunk of it! Yesterday I cut my hair very short and realized that it’s not the first time I’ve decided to do this before or during a big transition or change. What do we do with all of this worry? 6 Ideas To Manage Worry As We Enter Month 6 Of Life In A Global Pandemic
Many of us have been apart from loved ones. We have not hugged our family or friends in months. My heart goes out toContinue reading “What do we do with all of this worry? 6 Ideas To Manage Worry As We Enter Month 6 Of Life In A Global Pandemic”
Sure, I’ll teaching you the coping skills. But we’re also going to talk about the past. I want to go all the way back to the beginning. I was trying to think of a really relevant way to present this and the following scenario came to mind: My dog (Barney) goes to his dog bedContinue reading ““Why do we have to talk about my family?””
